Alabama, Bethesda, and the 20 week ultrasound

Sorry for the long delay in posting. We Bonos have been BUSY :) Well to start, Hannah & Dad had an excellent adventure to Gulf Shores Alabama, where it was 80 degrees and sunny. We enjoyed the beach, sun and ocean (even if it was only for 3 days), but we especially enjoyed some special time together on a most excellent road trip :) We visited family and really had a great time. Starting with Jim and Denise and Katie and Melissa (in Van Wert Ohio for 1 day/night) Where we played Wii and had a blast....and then went for ice cream at the world famous "Creamery" in the neighboring town of Delphos, Ohio. We each had a srumptious "buckeye" Blizzard type thing. Yum. I discovered my Wii age is a mere 35 (Hannah's was 19), and Hannah & I tied in our bowling matchup.

From there we went south 9 hours to Steve and Debbies place in beautiful Madison (Coincidentally ? a girls name we are considering), Alabama. We too had a blast watching celebrity apprentice, and playing Wii (we're hooked! ). Its was great seeing them and Taylor and Michelle. I really miss them all.
Then it was another 6 hours to the ocean where we stayed in a condo unit on the 12th floor and had perfect weather; and back to Steves for another night.
Finally we hit the road and stayed the last night with Cathy & Dennis in Wonderful Findlay, Ohio for dinner and a good nights rest. Where we had a sweet visit and once again played...... (drum roll) ......Wii. (we are REALLY hooked) .

We Had fun with Noah, Austin & Julie. Wow, what great family we are blessed with. We are so appreciative of all the hospitality we received.
Everyone was so accomidating and all the meals, and treats were so nice. This was a Dad and Daughter trip that we will always remember and seeing our loved ones made it even more special. Thank you everyone !

The Monday after I returned from down south, Gina and I had a fun and relaxing trip to Bethesda Maryland. This is the last time Gina can fly until after the babies are here, and given the fact that we will have three new bundles of joy, probably our last trip together for a little while. We had a really nice time and even visted our favorite Sushi restaurant (Gina was limited to Californa rolls per doctors orders)

My CT scan came back stable (yeah!) but it did show an infection in my right lung (which I had suspected) but no worries, it probably was a result of the vocal chord surgery and I was given a quick course of antibiotics to treat it.

Here is Gina's latest "Jiffy Pop" pose. We had our 20 week ultrasound on Monday, and thank God everything looks great ! 2 of the girls are 11 ounces, and 1 is 12 ounces. All look perfect and Gina is doing fantastic. She has reached her goal of 30 lbs in 20 weeks :) The doctor called Gina a "rock star".... and we all laughed when I mentioned that her name IS BONO.

I'll try and post on a more regular basis moving forward. We appreciate the prayers and well wishes. God Bless

  2. I'm thinking having three does make it easier too. You don't have to pick just one!
