Focus turns to Finished Basements, Au Pairs and Nannies

Since Gina & I have both been project managers; we immediately sprung into action planning ways to help us flourish in the midst of our great news. The lower level is being finished, and we are researching Au Pairs and Nannies (any advice on this one would be greatly appreciated !) .

Cleve and his son Chad are finishing our basement. Cleve is a friend and fellow serviceman from church at the Rock. He and his son are both union Carpenters who just happen to specialize in finished basements! Chad was recently laid off so our project was a God send for him, and Cleve just retired early after 25 years as a carpenter.

He is doing this for just our cost for materials and a small hourly fee for him. The timing was perfect! Sure seems like a " God thing".

Also one of our pastors (Pastor Mark Daly at Faith Baptist) is a master plumber and has completed all the plumbing at minimal cost. The total project will be done at about 1/2 the cost if we didn't have these awesome people in our lives.

As of today we are ready to tape, mud & finish the drywall, and painting starts next week. The finished lower level should be complete by 3/1.
